Elm Street Families Weekly Update

Hello Elm Street Families -

This will be the last parent email we send for this school year!  It has been my absolute pleasure working with you and your children for the past 5 years!  I look forward to my year away next year and whatever adventures I find!  

A few reminders:

New Principal - Mrs Driscoll is excited to join the team in September!  If you need to contact her, her email is: kjdriscoll@edu.pe.ca .

New Admin Assistant - Amanda Smith is excited to join the team in September as the new Admin Assistant.  Her email address is: amandansmith@edu.pe.ca. 

New School Year - Principals, Vice Principals and Admin Assistants start back to school the week of August 24.  The rest of the school staff return September 1 and the students start on Tuesday September 8.  Class lists will not be released until the week of September 1 when you will receive an email from your child’s teacher.

Grade 6 Closing - On Wednesday, June 24 we will host the grade 6 closing at 10am.  Doors will open at 9:30am.  Once finished, the grade 6s are welcomed to leave with their parents and call it a year!

Activity Day - On June 23, we will host a school wide Activity Fun Day!  The schedule for the day will be all different!  The Home and School is providing a hot dog bbq for lunch and a cold treat for the morning!  And… Ms. J will kiss a cow!  It will be a fun day!

Milk - Ordering is over for the year - have a great summer everyone.

Upcoming Dates to Remember:

June 24 - Grade 6 Closing - 10:00 am

June 25 - Last Day for Students

June 30 - Last Day for Staff 

September 8 - First Day of School for Students
