Storm Closure Communication Procedures
In addition to the regular social media and legacy media communications, this winter we will also be utilizing Powerschool messenger to send text and email notifications of any closures, delays or early dismissals to staff and families. This will be done at the branch level not at the school level.

Ice Cream Sales
The Grade 6’s will be doing an ice-cream sandwich sale again to help fundraise for our end-of-the-year field trip to Magic Mountain & Montana’s!
- Ice-cream sandwiches will be sold for $2 every week from January 7th - March 11th (10 weeks).
- Ice cream sandwiches will be given out every Wednesday at lunch time.
- Money ($2) will be due to the classroom teacher every Wednesday, and extra money can be paid up front for multiple weeks ($20 will pay for all 10 weeks of ice cream sandwiches).
Eagles Nest Library
Our library has a new website!
You can take a peek at our Eagles Nest Library to see what’s happening in our library and use some of the reading tools like our digital library collections.
One important item of interest is the Book Orders section. Digital flyers are available for viewing under the Book Order tab on the website. Families can follow the link to create an account and use the class code, and Ms Coulson will place a monthly order. Books will then be delivered to the school.
